Where to Ride Your Dirt Bike This Weekend: April 24-24

There are many options to ride this weekend in the Midwest. Where will you be? Be sure to double check possible changes or updates in schedules by visiting the tracks’ Facebook page or website, as spring weather could always be a factor. Be safe and have fun.

LLQ: Sunset Ridge MX – Walnut, IL

This weekend, Sunset Ridge is host to the North Central Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier. The following info was copied from their flier:

This event is open to ANY rider! You are not required to attempt to qualify for Loretta Lynn’s to participate in this weekend of racing! District 17 Points will be awarded in like classes. Pro-Am points!

Those individuals who are attempting to qualify for Loretta Lynn’s must purchase a MX Sports qualifying sheet prior to sign-up. *Note: The MX Sports fee is in addition to the practice and racing fees

We will have live timing and scoring provided by Laptimes USA. Mylaps transponders will be used and will be available for rent starting Thursday April 21st. Weekend rentals will be $15 cash and require a $100 cash or credit card deposit to insure the return of the rental equipment at the conclusion of the event. MO State MX Championship: HLR Motorsports –  Moberly, MO

Round 2 of the Missouri State Motocross Championship Series goes to HLR Motorsports in Moberly, MO this weekend.

Schedule of events:

  • Friday- Gates Open 3pm-11pm ($15)
  • Saturday- Gates Open 7am-11pm ($12), Practice 9am-2pm ($25), Early Sign Up 1-3pm, Gates close at 11pm
  • Sunday- Gates Open 6am ($10), Sign Up 6:30am to 8am, Church Service 7:30am
  • Riders Meeting 8am, Practice 8:20am, Races 10am

Open Practice: Valley MX – Grain Valley, MO

Grain Valley has announced they will run an open practice this Sunday, April 24 from 9am-4pm. Practice is open to all riders and skill levels. They will split up skill level and age as needed.

 

Midwest Extreme Park – Merwin, MO

Midwest Extreme Park will host an open practice Saturday April 23, 2016. Main MX track will be prepped.   Tracks and Trails will be open. 10-3 p.m. practice.

Sunday April 24th, the Missouri Vintage Motocross (MOVMX) will be racing.

Open Practice: Ride Organic – Alton, IL

As always, Ride Organic in Alton, Illinois is regularly an option during the weekends to get some seat time. For those of you who have not been to Ride Organic, it is a 72 acre Ranch, 20 acres of it is dedicated to farming Organic vegetables and 20 acres is used for a very unique training for Motocross, Short Track TT, sand track, enduro X and much more. Open Practice: Euro Raceway – Nashville, IL

Euro is having a prepped and organized practice this weekend Saturday and Sunday. Gate opens at 9. Practice runs from 10 to 4. Gate fee $25. Make sure to check out their new website www.euromxracing.com.

CKMS: Inman Motocross – Inman, KS
