Cash Ficenec has qualified for the largest amateur motocross race in the world, the 34th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships presented by AMSOIL at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Ficenec took on over 22,000 hopefuls from across America to earn one of just 1,482 qualifying positions. Here is a little bio on our local hopeful.

Qualifying for Lorettas tops everything! I was the Missouri State Champion last year in the 4-6 class, which was awesome.
What does it mean to you to be competing on the biggest stage of Amateur Motocross?
That all of my training is paying off and makes me very happy.
What are you looking forward to the most?
Doing my best to win Loretta Lynn's.
What are you doing to prepare?
I've been training as hard as I can and working on my corner speed.
What is your daily routine?
Watch some cartoons, then eat a good breakfast, shower, and daycare. Then train as soon as dad gets home from work and then dinner and bedtime. Oh, and sneak in motocross videos bedtime.
Who is your favorite pro rider and/or hero?
Tough choice between Ryan Villopoto, and Ryder Difrancesco. But I'm going with RV.
Who is your favorite Non-MX athlete?
Tom Scharr, youngest skateboarder to land a 1080 and compete in the X Games.
If you could meet anyone famous, who would it be?
What actor would play you in a movie?
What is the most enjoyable part of racing motocross?
Jumping the jumps and getting fat air.

I'm funny, helpful, and a fast rider.
